The BJP lied to me: Yeddyurappa

Vicky Nanjappa reports: While speaking at the rally, Yeddyurappa lashed out at his former party. "The BJP lied to me. They said if you resign as the chief minister, we will make you president of party. I was cleared by the high court and despite that they did not keep their promise,": he said.

"They stabbed me in the back. I was cheated by the JD-S and then by the BJP. I will continue to fight," he said drawing thunderous applause from the crowd.
