Also in the Lok Sabha: Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav walked up to the Treasury benches to meet P Chidambaram and hand over a letter in Hindi from UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. The CM is seeking more funds from the Centre. Mulayam wanted to ensure that his son's letter was given due importance and so he sought the help of SP MP Neeraj Shekhar to translate the letter into English. Neeraj is the son of former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar.
