December 04, 2012  10:04
The Samajwadi Party today said that their final stand on Foreign Direct Investment will depend upon the reply of the government, ahead of Lok Sabha debate on the issue starting today.

"I am not saying the SP will support FDI in Lok Sabha. It should not be taken for granted that we will support it," Ramgopal Yadav was quoted as saying by news channels.

Yadav said that the party will bail out the government if FDI is not implemented in all states and added that it will not allow it in Uttar Pradesh.

Yesterday, Bahujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati hinted that her 21 members could consider voting for the UPA.
