Zardari demands report on demolition of Hindu temple

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari believes in locking the stable door after the horses have bolted. Zardari has directed authorities to submit a report on the demolition of a century-old Hindu temple in Karachi. According to presidential spokesperson Senator Farhatullah Babar, Zardari expressed concern over the incident and directed the authorities to ensure no community was discriminated against in any manner, reports The Express Tribune. Zardari reiterated the government's commitment to safeguard the rights of minorities in the country.
