CPM: Govt will lose FDI vote; Maya, Mulayam opposed

CPI(M)'s Prakash Karat tells CNN IBN that the government will lose the vote against FDI in retail sector. Karat says that BSP chief Mayawati and the Samajwadi as well, have taken positions against FDI. Mulayam had said he was against FDI and would clear his stand in Parliament.
Debate on FDI will take place from December 4-5 (Lok Sabha) and December 6-7 (Rajya Sabha).

Mayawati says that FDI is the only option to bring in foreign money, but it would affect small retailers, farmers and enslave India.
