SC: Kasab's trial fair

Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam says the verdict and the case itself is historic because it proves that the conspiracy was hatched by Pakistanis, the terror group Laskhar-e-Toiba and the Pakistani army. The apex court had appointed senior advocate Raju Ramachandran to argue on behalf of Kasab. After the verdict, Ramachandran said, "I bow before the verdict."

The SC also upholds the Bombay HC acquittal of Indians Fahim Ansari and Shahbuddin Ahmed and says the conspiracy was hatched in Pakistan.
