20 injured in LPG tanker explosion in Kannur

At least 20 persons were injured when an LPG tanker exploded on the national highway in the Chala area, the police said.

The tanker lorry was on its way to Kannur from Kozhikode when the incident occurred, they said.

Police and Fire and Rescue Service personnel rushed to the spot and no casualty has been reported so far, they said.
