Criticising the BJP for disrupting Parliament on the issue of coal blocks allocation, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh today said if the BJP Lok Sabha members want to resign en masse, they were free to do so.

"There was no need for the BJP members to threaten that they will resign, instead they should quit without any ado," Singh said.

Bye-elections would be held in all the constituencies represented by the members in case they resign, he said while claiming that even in the worst situation, the "Congress will win at least 20-30 seats presently held by the BJP."
