Milind Deora's Twitter account 'being verified, not blocked'

Union Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Milind Deora, whose Twitter account has been suspended and which incident has led to a lot of comment on the microblogging site, smsed rediff.com to say that his account was only 'being verified, and it was not blocked'.

Earlier in the day, efforts to access the page showed the result: 'Account suspended. The profile you are trying to view has been suspended. To return to your home timeline, click here'. At the time of posting this, the situation had not changed.
