Home minister RR Patil may be replaced in Sept

Maharashtra Home minister RR Patil is likely to be replaced when the reshuffle happens next month, reports CNN IBN. Patil is perceived as not in control of his ministry. In fact, when the Pune blasts occured, NCP chief Sharad Pawar publicly ticked off Patil for his 'inept handling and the intelligence failure'. He could be replaced by deputy CM Ajit Pawar.

It may be recalled that Mumbai police commissioner Arup Patnaik was shunted out yesterday after his 'inept' handling of the Azad Maidan rally on August 11.
