CAG report far from reality, may trigger policy paralysis: Moily

Power Minister Veerappa Moily has questioned the credibility of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, saying that its findings could trigger policy paralysis.

"Today, we find a lot of credibility gap in that report, because it is far from reality. I think this report is without proper study and research. Perhaps, you know, they will be precipitating a policy paralysis in the government. I think they will be contributing to that," he told television channel CNN-IBN.

Facing the heat over the CAG report on the coal blocks allocation, the government on Wednesday hit back at the Opposition for running away from having a debate in Parliament over the issue.
