BJP MPs give Sonia the cold shoulder in Parliament

Buzz from Parliament: BJP MP Smriti Irani was taking photographs of BJP women MPs, apart from SP MP Jaya Bachchan, on her iPhone at Central Hall. One Union Minister in chaste Hindi commented whether Jaya was deserting Samajwadi Party and joining the BJP. Smriti Irani ignored the comment and went on taking pictures.

In fact, whenever UPA president Sonia Gandhi walks across Central Hall from
her office to the Lok Sabha, almost all MPs cutting across party lines stand up and greet her with a namaste. But today, with the third day of the Parliament logjam, many BJP MPs turned their faces in the opposite direction when they saw Sonia entering Central Hall.
