4 dead in Jaipur rains: PM calls CM offering help

PM Manmohan Singh has called Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot offering assistance after four people died as heavy rains lashed Jaipur. The rains created havoc as over 100 colonies in low-lying areas and the walled city were inundated. The district administration announced a holiday for all government and private schools Wednesday. Heavy rains, that began lashing the city from 11 pm Tuesday, were estimated at 148.4 mm Wednesday morning.
