Raj Thackeray is now at the Amar Jawan Jyoti memorial where he has offered a wreath, much like his cousin did yesterday. The memorial was desecrated by rioteeers on August 11.

At Azad Maidan, Pramod Shantaram Tawde, the constable who gave a rose to Raj Thackeray is speaking to the media. He says he will be beaten up for his action, but he does not care. "Main ek zinda laash hoon. Police commissioner Arup Patnaik keeps telling me that just because I look like Subhash Chandra Bose, I needn't behave like him. Why did the government release the rioteers when they attacked so many of my colleagues?"
