Muslim suspect in US fined again for having beard

A United States military judge has again held the Muslim suspect of a mass shooting in contempt of court after he appeared at a pretrial hearing with a beard, in violation of Army regulations.

Maj Nidal Hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder in an attack at Fort Hood in Texas.
