New fin min Chidambaram gets ready for Parl session

The new finance minister P Chidambaram has sent out a missive to his ministry asking officers to stay put in Delhi till August 8. Officers include those above Joint Secretary in the Departments of Revenue, Expenditure and Economic Affairs. Each day, each division of the ministry will make a presentation to Chidambaram ahead of the ensuing monsoon session of Parliament.
