Govt welcomes Anna's decision to end fast

Congress spokesperson Ambika Soni says the government is happy Team Anna has decided to end their fast. She says under democracy you cannot be expected to work under pressure and slammed Team Anna for holding the government to ransom.

Anna said he would join politics, telling NDTV that he was a fakir, not a politican and did not have the wealth to contest elections. He said they were willing to provide outside support.
