BJP rejects Pranab, Hamid Ansari for Prez race

In other news, the BJP has rejected Pranab Mukherjee's candidature for President of India, saying he is a Congressman. The BJP also turned down vice president Hamid Ansari's name saying "he is not of that stature".

The BJP said they were fine with former president APJ Kalam, provided the SP supported it and if he agreed to contest.
