Rediff.com's Vrushali Lad who has been following Rahul Gandhi's tour of Mumbai, says after his meeting with the young guns of the Congress party delegates from the National Students Union of India (NSUI) and the Youth Congress at Bhaidas Hall in suburban Vile Parle, the Congress general secretary made his way to Dadar's Chaityabhoomi.

Gandhi spent a good 30 minutes at Chaityabhoomi, which houses the memorial of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and is a pilgrimage site for scores of Buddhists on December 6 every year.

Gandhi said that he "liked being at Chaityabhoomi". He then made his way to Tilak Bhavan in Dadar, which is the headquarters of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, where he is scheduled to meet the district presidents and block presidents of the Congress party in Maharashtra.
