BJP plans to move private member bill on Telangana

Our correspondent also tells us that the BJP plans to move a private members' Bill in the Lok Sabha for a separate Telangana state. The move for the bill gained momentum after the Lok Sabha suspended Congress MPs after they raised the issue of Telangana.

The process involved in a private member bill means it will take at least three weeks, which means that the bill will come about only in the Monsoon session of the Parliament.
