BJP in Parl: Bofors continuing saga of corruption

The Bofors issue is being raised in both the Lok Sabha (Jaswant Singh) and the Rajya Sabha (Arun Jaitley).

BJP senior leader Jaswant Singh says the Congress lost power because of the Bofors issue. He says Bofors is a saga of continuing corruption and that government connivance helped Quattarocchi escape -- 'he was taken out of the country by the government'. He also wants a probe into how the Bachchans got dragged into the scam.

Arun Jaitley wants to know why the CBI did not meet Swedish investigaors.

Mani Shankar Aiyar looks exasperated.
