Retired army officer Kandasamy Ramaraj has been given a life term for shooting dead a 13-year-old boy who had gone to the Fort Glacis Army Officers' Enclave in Chennai to gather almonds on July 3, 2011. The Lt Col, was convicted of Dilshan's murder and also sentenced to a three-year jail term under the Arms Act.
