Why Mamata Banerjee made the eTIME 100 list

New York-based TIME Magazine has listed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, as one of the 100 "most influential" personalities in the world.

Ranked 92 in the magazine's annual "TIME 100' list, unveiled yesterday, the Bengali politician's name features among the likes of U.S. President Barack Obama, billionaire Warren Buffet and Apple Inc.'s Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook.
