BJP wants Jaswant Singh as prez, SP wants Kalam

Our Delhi correspondent tells us that Jaswant Singh may be the BJP nominee for President of India. For the the past two days, crucial meetings of the the RSS-BJP have been taking place in Delhi. One of the things that came up at the meetings was that the party sought the removal of Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi as the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee, after his name cropped up in an alleged sex scandal. A few MPs want to bring his 'sexcapade' to the notice of the Ethics Committee as well. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav wants to announce APJ Kalam's name as a Presidential candidate.
