Queen Jaya to meet Modi, Patnaik, Badal in Delhi

Our Delhi correspondent tells us that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has assumed centrestage on the national scene by attacking the Centre's policies on internal security.

Jayalalithaa will remain in the spotlight today with many chief ministers paying a courtesy call on  her at Tamil Nadu house in the Capital.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will drive down to the TN state guesthouse at 3:30 pm to discuss NCTC and internal security issues.  Then at 4 pm, Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal (CM Parkash Singh Badal's son) will also be heading to Chanakyapuri where the Tamil Nadu House is, to talk on the same issue.

Jayalalithaa will also declare open an investment initiative with Punjab in July. Chief Minister of Orissa Naveen Patnaik will also be meeting Jayalalithaa at 3 pm . Following all the meetings, Jaya will leave for Chennai on a special flight at 4:45 pm.
