PM: Internal security still a challenge

Good morning. In New Delhi, PM Manmohan Singh is addressing the chief ministers' meet on internal security. Dr Singh says there has been an improvement in the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Just before the PM spoke, the home minister P Chidambaram says violence declined in 2011 be it in J-K, north east or left-wing extremism-affected states, while Assam has emerged as new theatre of Maoist groups.
