11 swine flu deaths in Maharashtra

There have been 11 swine flu deaths in Maharashtra this year of a total of 24 deaths in India, with over 330 people testing positive in six states. A 35-year-old man died in Nashik today. However, unlike 2009, when swine flu reached almost-epidemic proportions, the vaccine is available at private hospitals as well. Doctors have advised against self-medication.
