Sikkim quake: Rescue teams airdropped to epicentre

Home Secretary RK Singh addressing the media in Delhi just now, says the road from Mangan (epicentre of the quake) to Gangtok is open, but the one to Chungthang is yet to open. Two rescue teams from the Jat regiment have been airdropped to Chungthang. The road to Mangan was opened this morning. He also said the communication network has started functioning. So far five teams of the NDRF are at Gangtok. He also confirmed that two army jawans died in rescue operations yesterday.
