IAF: 'Absolutely no controversy over Mausam'

Rediff.com's Ganesh Nadar says Pankaj Kapoor's movie Mausam could not be shown at the Toronto film festival because they did not get clearance from the Indian Air Force.

In the film, Shahid Kapoor plays an officer in the Indian Air Force. It was alleged that the Indian Air Force had objected to a scene which shows a fight scene involving six fighter planes. One of them is flown by Shahid Kapoor.

Speaking exclusively to rediff.com Indian Airforce PRO Wing Commander Gerard Galway said, "There is absolutely no controversy, I do not know from where these stories are coming from".
