Making-out couple sets off panic on US plane

Not sure if the couple heard bells, thunderbolts or whatever one is supposed to hear in the throes of passion, but it's a safe bet that neither did they hear the fighter jets tracking their airliner from Denver after their prolonged togetherness in the plane's toilet raised passenger suspicions.

ABC News later reported that the couple was only 'making out', but in these troubled times, when the United States of America was in a state of high alert for the 9/11 anniversary, anything out of the ordinary could land one in trouble.

After being shadowed by fighter planes, the airplane landed in Detroit where the police detained three passengers for interrogation.
