First phase of 7km Bangalore metro launched

#LatestNews: The first phase of the Bangalore metro has just been launched. It will be a 7 km stretch connecting the east of the city to the business district and is expected to ease traffic woes. The 14-minute ride covers six stations. The metro will be open to the public from 4 pm today.
