Update on TN civic polls: DMK chief M Karunanidhi also exuded confidence that his party would emerge victorious in the civic polls. In fact, all parties have been saying that they will win the polls.

"I also say the same thing", he told reporters after casting his vote at a polling booth in Gopalapuram. Asked about the complaint that web-cameras installed in many polling booths, as per a Madras High court directive, were not functioning properly, he said "even the government does not function properly."
