Just in: Gujarat high court upholds the governor Kamla Beniwal's order on the appointment of the Lokayukta. The court held a hearing on the petition filed by the Narendra Modi government challenging the state Governor's decision to appoint a Lokayukta. During the last hearing on September 21, the Court had issued a notice to the Lokayukta retired Justice RA Mehta.
