US: Man accused of planning to attack Pentagon

A 26-year-old man, Rezwan Ferdaus, who is accused of planning to attack the Pentagon and Washington through flying explosive-packed remote-controlled model planes, has pleaded not guilty before a United States court.

The US district court in Massachusetts has charged him of trying to destroy a building using explosives, and planning to attack Washington and the Pentagon.

Ferdaus was arrested by federal agents following a tip-off after a lengthy sting operation against him.
