Pak may grant MFN status to India

The Pakistan Government is considering granting the most favoured nation status to India, after getting a green signal from all stakeholders. Sources told the Dawn that the government has sent a summary to all stakeholders, asking for their views on changing trade scenario with India, after which the summary would be sent to the federal cabinet for a final decision.

The decision comes in the wake of the recent tension in Pak-US ties due to the US accusing Pakistan of having links with Afghanistans Haqqani network.
