Leaders of the banned terror group Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) have urged the Pakistan army to give a 'befitting response' for the cross-border NATO airstrike which killed 24 soldiers wounded at least a dozen others.

The leaders were addressing a rally in Lahore, where around 800 people had gathered to protest against the Pakistan governments alliance with the United States.

Maulana Abdul Rauf Farooqi said 'the enemy' had challenged Pakistanis by attacking the soldiers on Pakistani soil.
