Sushil Kumar, the only contestant to win the Rs 5 crore jackpot on Kaun Banega Crorepati, this season, has turned down an offer to appear in Bigg Boss 5.
Rediff.com's MI Khan reports.
"I was approached by a top executive, involved in producing Bigg Boss and he offered me a place in the reality show. I simply said, no, I don't want to sign up'," Sushil told rediff.com over the phone.
He added, "I don't want to lose my image by accepting the offer. People are looking at me as a role model and if I enter the House, I may do something that would hurt them or my image."
Sushil added he had become the brand ambassador for the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA). The 28-year-old computer operator also admitted that he was getting endorsements by the dozen.
