PM: Hope Parliament runs smoothly, don't boycott session

Good morning. The winter session of Parliament begins at 11 am today and is expected to be stormy affair with a determined opposition stacking up ammunition against the government on a range of issues including price rise and corruption.

Ahead of the Parliament session, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said he hopes that the Winter Session will move smoothly. He said the government is prepared to discuss all issues which the Opposition wants to raise.

PM says there is virtually no case for boycott of Parliament and hoped that political parties will desist from any such temptation.
