Lindsay Lohan's house arrest ends

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan, who turns 25 on Saturday, recieved an early birthday gift in the form of her release from the 35-day long confinement at home.

The Mean girls star was under house arrest at her pad in Venice, California, after she pleaded no contest in a necklace theft case, reported People magazine.

"She completed her home detention today and she's now back under the supervision of the courts and probation," said Los Angeles sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
