Dalit girl's rape in UP will cast long shadows

In Uttar Pradesh, a 12-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Khaampar area, the police said today. The girl was raped by one Manoj on June 28 when her mother had gone out and she was alone in her hut in Khaampar bazar locality, they said. Manoj has been arrested in this connection, the police added.
