June 21, 2011  11:46

Rediff.com correspondent Toral Varia who is at the Bombay High Court today to hear the court's decision on the status report on the investigation into the killing of journalist J Dey, says the hearing has been postponed for later in the day, possibly post lunch.

Apparently, the report runs into over a 1000 pages.

The court asked that the matter be argued by advocate general Ravi Kadam himself because of the case's importance. It also allowed Press Club, Mumbai, and Marathi Patrakar Parishad to intervene in the two PILs, which are demanding that the probe into Dey's killing be handed over to the CBI.
