Yesterday the Union Cabinet approved the Lokpal draft bill, even as Anna Hazare's team called it a deceit to the nation.

Today, rights activist Arvind Kejriwal said it the draft will "patronise" corruption and should be withdrawn. "The Bill betrays the aspirations and expectations of people fighting against corruption," Kejriwal said.

"Even the Lokpal Selection Committee will have overwhelming representation by the government with five of the nine members," Kejriwal, who won the Magsaysay Award in 2006 for activating the Right to Information movement at
grassroots, said.Kejriwal.
