Speak Asia 'scamster' nabbed in Mumbai

Rediff.com's Toral Varia says Tarak Bajpai, COO of Speak Asia has been arrested by the Economic offences wing of the Muumbai police. He was brought in from Indore. More details coming in.

Speak Asia, an online survey company collected hundreds of crores from users by promising huge payments for filling its surveys. Investor protection groups allege Speak Asia, which started operations in India about a year ago, appears to be running a Ponzi scheme where new investments are used to pay existing subscribers.
