'Kashmiris don't want separate state'

Remember the interlocutors who were quickly put together last year as J-K burned? Well, news coming out of the state is that a majority of people there are against any division of the state and favour a political settlement through dialogue, central interlocutors said today.

Wrapping up their 10th visit to Jammu and Kashmir, head of the panel of interlocutors Dileep Padgaonkar said four "common" views have emerged from the team's interactions with the people with the other two being -- power sharing among the state's regions and restoring the pluralistic and tolerant culture.
