CM Chavan admits: We were NOT prepared

Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan dismissed speculation that terrorists were trying to target areas inhabited by Gujaratis. Talking to this correspondent over the phone said, "Let the investigations begin, but I don't see anything which points to it.

"Let the NIA begin the investigation. We will comment on the perpetrators only after NIA investigates it. There was no alert in the city. We did not have any information that such a strike is possible. In that sense we were not prepared but, we will help victims in every way and we will finish investigating as soon as possible."
