No disappointment over portfolio: Kamat

In a statement in Mumbai, Kamat said, "There is no question of disappointment over portfolio; it is an important one. The reasons (for skipping swearing-in) are personal and not defiance of party leadership"

"I have highest regard for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi; I wrote to them to relieve me from ministerial responsibility. I will continue to work for the party," he said.
