Dayanidhi Maran submits resignation to PM

A little earlier than we told you (3 pm), but Union Textiles minister Dayanidhi Maran has just submitted his resignation to PM Manmohan Singh. Maran met the PM twice today -- once just after the Cabinet meeting this morning, when he left while discussions on FM radio were on and the other meeting, a while ago. He put in his papers during the second meet, which lasted for just five minutes.
