CVC presents its annual report to President

First the Lokpal Bill and now this. Expect the monsoon session of Parliament to be stormy.

 

The Central Vigilance Commission, investigating the multi-crore Commonwealth Games scam, has submitted its annual report to President Pratibha Patil, which will be tabled in Parliament.

Officials said that the report carried details of the probe undertaken by the anti-corruption watchdog between January and December 2010.

"The report has been given to the President late last month and it will be tabled in the Parliament," a CVC official said. However, the official, did not divulge details on the content of the report saying it will be a "breach of Parliament".
