Telangana Congress leaders to resign today

The Congress leadership in Telangana is in a fix as Telangana Congress leaders adamant on en masse resignation. Telangana Congress MPs, ministers and legislators say they will resign today as the Government has not given in to their demand for a separate state of Telangana. The MPs are scheduled to meet speaker at her office at 11 am today.

The party's MLAs and MLCs in Andhra are also threatening to wuit today triggering a Domino effect. Legislators of main opposition Telugu Desam Party from the region say they too will quit once the Congress legislators resign.
