6 more die on yatra, Amarnath toll rises to 18

Six more pilgrims including two women died of natural causes at various halting stations en route Amarnath cave shrine, raising the death toll during the ongoing yatra to 18, officials said today.

While four of the deceased were from Uttar Pradesh, one person was a resident of Gujarat. The identity of the sixth is yet to be established, they said.
